There are so many uses for sweet almond oil. You can purchase almond oil relatively cheaply if you know where to look! NAILS - dabbing a touch of almond oil on your nails everyday can help keep them in excellent condition. You can also soak your hand in a small bowl of almond oil for ten minutes then wrap it in hot towels to get the a luxury moisture treatment. HAIR - Your hair can benefit hugely from any plant oil. Some people prefer to use sweet almond oil instead of traditional olive oil as it has a sweeter smell and it does practically the same job. To condition and moisturise your hair with sweet almond oil pour some warmed oil into the palms of your hands and rub through dry hair. Wrap your hair in a hot towel and leave the oil on for 30 minutes or as long as you can then wash your hair twice and condition like you usually would. Doing this a couple of times a week can dramtically improve the health and appearance of your hair and scalp and also keep dandruff at bay. FACE - There are numerous ways you can use almond oil on your face. Many people talk about how it can help with dark circles. You dab a small amount around the eye area before you go to bed at night. Although I'm not too sure that it can help with dark circles it most definitely helps the moisture levels around your eyes. It's so important to keep this area hydrated as your eye area has no sebaceous glands meaning its one of the most dry areas on your face. Not keeping this area hydrated can result in premature ageing. SHAVING CREAM - I've heard of many people using sweet almond oil to create their own natural shaving cream.
